About This Collage
In high school I was many things:
Zitty.
Nervous.
Ambitious.
Smart as hell.
Busy as could be.
Closeted.
Quirky.
Everything but athletic.
Which is why I’m positively tickled that one of the highlights of my week has become Sunday afternoons on the kickball field.
This collage belongs to a series of works that celebrates the beauty, resilence, struggle, and triumph of the LGBTQ+ community.
